Glen Johnson was the penciller and layout artist for the Star Wars 3-D anniversary special published by Blackthorne Publishing. Earlier comic artists such as Carmine Infantino took great liberties with the style and feel of the Star Wars universe, but Johnson presented a more authentic tone for the mythos, by depicting characters that more closely resembled their on-screen movie counterparts.
