The Custom T-Bird was a Hot Wheels casting designed by Harry Bradley, and was based on the 1967 Ford Thunderbird. The Custom T-Bird debuted in the 1968 Basic Car line as part of the Original 16 castings. The tool was only used in the 1968 mainline and wasn't used in any other years. Every version of the car had a die-cast body, die-cast chassis, redline wheels, bent-axle suspension, and Spectraflame paint.
