The Academy of Bastion, also called the Bastion Academy and Imperial Academy, was a higher education military institute that trained the officers of the Stormtrooper Corps, Imperial Army, and Imperial Navy for the Imperial Remnant. It was meant to be a replacement to the prestigious Carida Imperial Military Academy, which was destroyed a year prior to 12 ABY when the entire planet of Carida was blown up in a supernova. The Academy quickly gained the reputation that it's predecessor had, and even trained some New Republic officers. The stormtrooper commander Malkor Talinin briefly served there as an instructor.
