This effect will cause damage to the target's Courage stat, and directly affect their Cou/End limits (lowering thier Courage, raising thier Cou/End, and making them SCARED sooner). The amount inflicted is less than that induced by the Fear effect. It can be seen on special fear-inducing weapons, or more rarely, on characters using an intimidation-type attack to try and scare you.
