The Democratic Republic of Thrace was a star nation in the influence sphere of the Solarian League. It was secretly controlled by the Kakadelis family, one of the Mesan Alignment's genetic Alpha lines, and was expected to be one of the founding nations of the Mesan-controlled "Renaissance Factor" upon the collapse of the League. The Republic was governed by a Chief Counsel. As of 1922 PD, the office was held by Nikomedes Kakadelis. (HH12)
