The Countryman Project is a group ostensibly committed to preventing illegal immigrants from crossing over the United States' border with Mexico. They have been criticized by immigrant rights groups for what is perceived as xenophobia, and were mired in controversey when member Nathaniel Prentiss was tried and convicted for killing truckdriver and human smuggler Clayton Stack, in order to cover up an attempt by Terry Dorn to sabotage Stack's truck, resulting in the deaths of 12 illegals.
