The USS Cantabrian (NCC-607) started her Starfleet career as a Pickering-class starship. Around 2271, Starfleet Command issued a directive to refit the Cantabrian to a Constitution class refit. Captain Thekla Lawless was the commanding officer of the Cantabrian (NCC-607) from before 2271 until its destruction during the Tomed Incident in 2311.
