Pichu is an unlockable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Urban, and will usually be the first character the player unlocks. He is one of the Pokémon representatives in the game. Pichu has received major buffs from the transition from Melee to Urban. Whilst he still takes damage from some of his attacks, he is overall stronger, harder to combo and has much better range. Despite all of these buffs, he is still considered a mid-low tier character, though some argue he should be higher on the tier.
