Julia Adams was the girlfriend of Johnny Blatt, member of Frank Hackman's criminal gang, providing tips on potential targets to Blatt. Julia was also the victim of Blatt's constant abuse, both verbal and physical, to the point Julia was badly injured when met by Metro-Dade Detectives James "Sonny" Crockett and Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs, who told them about Blatt and Hackman, for which Blatt abused Julia more viciously, and she sought help after Blatt was arrested.
