Mediacorp Channel 8 (Simplified Chinese: 新传媒8频道) is a Singaporean television network which opened in 1963. Channel 8 has been broadcasting the mega-successful, long-running Doraemon anime series since 1992. Other notable programmes aired on this channel include The Little Nyonya, a drama series chronicling the history of a Peranakan family over 70 years, and The Dream Makers, which revolves around a group of employees in a TV station, giving viewers a peek into what is behind the scenes in the media industry.
