A scolex is a tiny organ, consisting of a sucker-like mouth with four hooking spikes. These organs are often used by parasitic worms to attach themselves to their hosts. Parasites that have a scolex include tapeworms, rare parasitic ice worms discovered in Icy Cape, Alaska as well as flatworms and the larger "Flukeman". (TXF: "Ice", "The Host")
