Anna Gymer appeared on Coronation Street in 1961 as Glynis, a worker from Elliston's Raincoat Factory with Sheila Birtles and Doreen Lostock. She returned to the programme in 1969 as a Ward Sister when the residents were hospitalised following a coach crash in the Lake District.
