The Ancient and Honorable League of the Nets is a guild of fishermen in Ebou Dar, the capital of Altara. Persons belonging to the League are identified by a double earring in their left ear. White stones are used to identify persons who have boats in their service in addition to the boat that they captain. A single white stone would signify that the person owns two boats, one that they captain and one that sails for them under another person. Jasfer Anan is part of the League. He has two stones in his earring, denoting ownership of three boats.
