Atomic Wasteland is a subzone located in the Desert. It acts as a quest hub for heroes operating in the region, boasting missions within a relatively large valley inhabited by a large number of Irradiates. __ToC__ The Atomic Wasteland was the site of various nuclear weapons testing in the 1950s by the United States government. Due to the extensive radiation present in the region to this day, these valleys and surrounding cliffs has been rendered unsafe for human habitation.
