Synthetic Mods are Equipment Mods that can be bought with Marks of Victory, instead of being crafted with exobytes through research and development. Plans for synthetic mods do not exist and thus do not have to be researched. Synthetic Mods open up higher level options of mods for free and premium players, as previously they were gated by their cash caps ($1500 and $2000 respectively). There are only single-stat synthetic mods. There are no orange, green or purple ones.
