Janys Chambers (born 14th April 1953 in Nottingham) played three separate parts on Coronation Street: * Weatherfield Gazette reporter Rosie Nettles in January 1993. * Mrs Magill, a prospective buyer of 7 Nightingale Street in February 1994 * Community Service Officer Christine Bullock in November 1994. Other acting credits include roles in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, In Suspicious Circumstances, Butterfly Collectors, Dalziel and Pascoe and The Royal Today. As well as writing episodes of The Ward, Holby City and Emmerdale, she has gone on to become a successful playwright.
