The Dragon Soul is the pinnacle of the Cataclysm expansion, was released in Patch 4.3.0 at the end of 2011. The raid is smaller than Ulduar with two encounters with Deathwing. Melee classes receive a buff that is only active in the raid to help them compete with ranged classes. Epic gems will also drop (likely on Normal and Heroic only).
