The Great Ice Field is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Located in the eastern section of the Isle of Frost, the Great Ice Field is the home to the Yook tribe. In order to reach the Great Ice Field, Link must pass through a cave in the western section of the Isle of Frost that ultimately leads to the northern section of the field. Here, the hero meets the Guardians of the Great Ice Field, who are hostile towards him due to a curse placed on them. In order to lift this curse, Link must traverse the Temple of Ice, rescue an Anouki named Aroo, and defeat Gleeok who dwells within the temple.
