Fake binds are a different way to bring your yoyo back created by Joshua Yee. Instead of actually binding the string around the axle, the yoyoer pinches the string and rolls the yoyo up the string a bit. This causes the yoyo to catch the string and come back up. This way of returning your yoyo works better than binds for some people and also prevents snags more.
