The Safety Bit appears as a relic equippable by all party members. It protects against Instant Death, Petrify, and Zombie. The Safety Bit can be found in the Cultists' Tower, stolen from Fiend, or metamorphed by several enemies. A similar relic, the Memento Ring, is equippable only by Shadow and Relm. It is automatically equipped on Relm, and can be found in Strago's house, or stolen from Wrexsoul.
