Joey Clanton from Tyrone, Georgia was born November 1, 1972. In NASCAR racing, he last drove the #09 Zaxby's Ford in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He was the 2002 champion in the now-defunct American Speed Association stock car series. In 2003, he ran 18 races in the Busch Series for Brewco Motorsports, scoring 1 top five. He made his Craftsman Truck Series debut in 2004, racing two races for Key Motorsports before being released. However, his best shot has come in 2007, when he will drive the #09 in sixteen races. He earned a top-ten in his first start for the team.
