Kroton showed an appreciation of beauty as well as the knowledge of what was right. It was this judgement that led him to fight back against oppressors - such as the Cybermen and the Sontarans. Originally having an innocence about him that could be described as child-like, he became more confident and slightly egotistical. At one point while fighting pirates, he claimed he could carry a tune, play a round of golf and even tell the odd off-color joke or two. Izzy referred to Kroton as been "like a Borg, but with way more personality". (This is based on the classic comparison of the Cybermen and the Borg from fans of both the Doctor Who and Star Trek franchises).
