Peter was born in Pennsylvania and taught himself how to play the piano and the guitar. He began to write songs when he was eleven years old. In college, he did a rough recording of his music in a Salt Lake City studio, and it became a hit on Utah college campuses. Since then, his music has spread around the globe, seemingly by itself.
