Prior to and during the Great Sith War, the Gand who would later be known as Tuffass served in Esk Company of the regiment's second battalion as a recon scout, prior to being transferred to the 12th Marine Regiment. When the Corps reorganized, the regiment was pared down and reformed as the 6th Marine Battalion.
