The Camouflage Europe Centrale was introduced in 1991, replacing both, TAP 47 pattern camouflage and khaki F2 uniform dresses. It is a four-colour pattern of woodland shapes optimised for French forests. The CCE pattern is used by the French military and by Austrian forces
