The Armor of Parasite Eve II is different than the original Parasite Eve system in that defense no longer exists and instead Armor boosts Aya's HP and MP along with giving her new abilities in some cases. In most cases, the armor determines what kind of character Aya will be, whether more physically or magically based in terms of combat.
