The Mk II Droideka is a Consortium unit that is very effective against both infantry and light vehicles. In-game, it is classified as a light vehicle. It has the ability to switch between blaster and ion cannons, and also sports a shield of its own. Keep in mind, however, that the Droideka must lower its shield when it turns into ball mode. While in ball mode, it is very susceptible to small arms fire.
