The Priors of the Ori carry staffs with them that amplify their basic mental abilities, which otherwise go little beyond small-scale telekinesis. When activating their powers, the staff will glow with a blue, ethereal light. The staffs are activated by the Priors through mental concentration. The staffs also allow the Priors to interact with the old Alteran technology (before they left the Ori galaxy) and Ori technology.
