In 2099 Vito Cornelius was top ape in Mega-City One organised crime. He was double-crossed by Skinner and Sloper on an old comics deal. After his fall from grace, Don Uggie Apelino took over organised crime. In 2136, with Max Normal, Vito managed to retrieve a case of the comics which were confiscated from Sloper and Skinner by the Judges.
