Armed with the swift and accurate AMZ-55 Archer self-propelled artillery system, Captain Farago's battery in the 345th Artillery Battalion supported Eurofed forces in the hotly contested central sector of western Germany. Due to the danger of Russian counter-battery fire, the 345th became experts at rapid deployment tactics, firing artillery strikes and then moving again in less than a minute to escape enemy retaliation.
