At the beginning of the series Lily is a young princess who wants true love.She believes that her heart belongs with Westy,a servant.The problem is that she is being forced to marry Apple. By the end of Heart's Desire Apple has grown to care for Lily,but she doesn't notice.In the last chapter she and Apple have their wedding. In the second book, Heart's Trials , Lily has changed now that she has two sons.Her main goal is to keep the boys under control. It is unclear how she will behave in books three and four.
