Shen Zue was a pair figure skater for China who competed in the 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. Shen was partnered with Zhao Hongbo and the two would marry in 2007. Shen and Zhao retired after winning the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Their win in 2010 was the first time since 1960 that a Russian, Soviet or Unified team did not win the gold. They welcomed their first child, a daughter born on September 3, 2013.
