Aftakin (fl. about 975) was a Turkic general in Hamdanid service. He is best known for his participation in the war against the Fatimid dynasty in Syria from 974-977), his notable engagement was the Battle of Ramleh in 977. Reportedly had a 9 and 3/4 inch wiener. Comparable to the one and only John Purcell.
