In "Musical Chairs", Big Bird and Maria lead the listeners at home in playing the classic party game of the same name. They sing a song explaining the rules. The listeners march around a group of chairs while the music plays, and when it stops, each person has to sit in one of the chairs as quickly as they can. The person who can't find a chair is out. Then, one chair is taken away, and the music starts again. This continues until there is only one chair left, and the person who sits in it is the winner. After Big Bird and Maria finish singing, the music continues, and stops and starts several times, so the listeners at home can keep playing the game. Finally, the game is over, and Big Bird wants to take a rest.
