Gelu, also known as Devil's Bane, is a major character in the Heroes of Might and Magic series and the flagship character of Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade. As a recruit in (and later captain of) the Forest Guard, an elite Erathian guerrilla unit, he achieved several momentous victories for his homeland and for the sake of the world, eventually becoming exalted among the people of Antagarich as the so-called Elven Hero.
