The Dug Council, also known as the Malastarian council, was the governing body of the Dug species on Malastare. A certain number of delegates represented their respective tribal nations on the council, which was ruled by a doge. The Dug Council's seat of power was the Imperial palace, a conical building that overlooked a cleared area of land home to fuel refineries. At the time of the Clone Wars, the Council was chaired by Doge Nakha Urus.
