The Third North American War began in 1939 and 1945, and was the largest of the three wars in North America. It is part of and greatly intertwined with World War II, which was also raging in Europe and Africa at the same time. At the beginning of the war, the Confederacy, Canada, California (the Alliance of "C's") were aligned with the Axis powers. The Central American Union, Caribbean Federation, and United States would end up joining the Allies. The CAU joined right away, so at the start of the conflict, the Confederacy and California launched a joint invasion of Mexico, but was repelled, and a stalemate persisted until 1941.
