Quaker guns were logs of wood that were made to look like cannons on Earth to fool an enemy into thinking a location was more fortified than it actually was. In a fake database Drex took information from on Deep Space 9 in 2372, Starfleet said they had installed 24th century versions of Quaker guns on the space station.
