Michael Ontkean is a Canadian actor, best known for his role as Sheriff Harry S. Truman in Twin Peaks. He reprised the role for Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. but his scenes were cut, though they were later restored as part of Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces. For undisclosed personal reasons, he will not be returning in the revival of Twin Peaks, airing sometime in 2017, with Robert Forster rumored to have taken over the role as Truman.
