Task Force 23 was a Terran Confederation group. In 2634 it was sent to push the Kilrathi out of the Facin Sector on a punitive expedition against centers from which the Kilathi raid Confed territory. For that it was sent in a very poor configuration, 2 older battleships, their escorts and one Ranger-class Carrier.
