A combined force unit of the Caspian Defence Force, comprising vessels of the Caspian, Krittish, and Yari navies. The Second Fleet was commissioned in the third year of The Crest, and its sponsor was Dame Sina Adamov, wife of His Honorable Senator Leidan Adamov. The fleet's nickname was the Mighty River Fleet, often dispatched on diplomatic escort and tours-de-force to nieghboring star systems. At the close of the Imperial War of Aggression, Second Fleet became the basis of the Rimward Frontier Fleet.
