The Special Combat Group (Portuguse: Grupo de Combate Especial) is the special forces branch of the Portuguese Army in the Rapid Response Brigade, specializing in unconventional warfare, counterterrorism and clandestine activities. The GCE is regarded as one of the most elite special forces divisions in the world.
