WJJX-TV is a DirecTV-affiliated television station that serves Jackson, MS which began broadcasting in 1961 as a independent station. It broadcasts on channel 44 and is owned by the KIVO Television Group which also owns the other DirecTV affiliate KDLD-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas.
