Starbase 13 was a United Federation of Planets facility active during at least the 23rd century. It is located near the Klingon Neutral Zone. Starbase 13 was one the early Starbases established in the early 2200s The facility was destroyed in 2266 by the Klingons. The new facility was refurbished and moved to Starbase 134.
