Zip Toad is an egocentric movie star in room 001 of the Excess Express, in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is one of the suspects in the investigation, but it is revealed that this Zip Toad is actually Doopliss in disguise, who is apparently hired by Beldam of the Shadow Sirens. Later, the real Zip Toad sends Mario an e-mail, containing a picture of the actor in front of a window. In the e-mail, Zip Toad told Mario that he was going to film a movie in Toad Town called Golden Toad 2.
