Exit 16 on the Van Wyck Expressway is the fourth-to-last interchange on the Van Wyck. It is for the southbound Cross Island Parkway in Whitestone. The exit is a southbound only exit that leaves to the left instead of the right. The road makes a dead right and becomes the Cross Island at Exit 35 for 14th Avenue and Francis Lewis Boulevard.
