Brigadier General (Retired-United States Army Reserve) Roger "Cliff" Clifton Poole (born December 31, 1936), was the nineteenth and twenty-first President of The Citadel (military college), serving both times in an interim status. BG Poole's first term was for school year 1996-1997; he completed his second term in 2005-06. BG Poole is brevet Major General in the Unorganized Militia of South Carolina (UMSC) and a Doctor of Finance (Ph.D.).
