The cavalry is the fifth tier unit of the Knight faction in Heroes of Might and Magic II, recruited by building a jousting arena. With the exception of their upgrade, the champion, cavalry are the fastest unit of the Knights faction, with an impressive attack power and damage. Their defense, however, is equal to the pikeman and swordsman, and they have only a little more hit points. Therefore, they should be deployed carefully so as to avoid situations where they are overwhelmed by enemies.
