Rubberboy is a member of the Cadet Crusaders. He's one of the only two surviving members of the Designer Heroes, a group of artificially-created superbeings (the other survivor is Aurora). As his name suggests, he is a shapeshifter of the "Plastic Man / Mr. Fantastic" sort. Given the fate of the Designer Heroes, he's a bit depressed, but seems like a nice enough guy.
