The Reaper's Toll is a unique Thresher in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Although its damage may not be as high as other weapons, the Reaper's Toll bestows some effective bonuses. Its seemingly mediocre damage is greatly increased with its chances to activate Deadly Strike and Decrepify, which gets a double damage hit once in every three hits - and an almost constant 50% added to final damage from the curse. The curse also acts as a defensive ability, seriously reducing speed on nearby hostile attackers. That, combined with high life steal and some cold damage, make this weapon one of the best mercenary weapons available in the game, particularly if it is Ethereal.
